The complete range of products for SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW and SAW of soft martensitic and austenitic turbine steels – with best-in-class mechanical properties – ensures problem-free welding and dependable operation of the turbines. The alform welding system – an integrated system of high strength base material produced by the voestalpine steel division and matching filler metals – offers additional benefits in the design and welding of penstock structures. Fontargen Brazing provides filler metals and fluxes for the brazing of copper connection components and power rails in generators and transformators.
